The University of Insubria dream is no longer a mirage. The university college, which will be the heart of the campus, is now clearly visible in the neighbourhood of Bizzozero. The project has been on hold for years. It’s been promised and announced in the past but has met difficulty several times running smoothly. But now the "skeleton" of the structure is clearly visible as well as the progress of the work: "If everything goes as planned the opening will be in August," says Giancarlo De Luca, executive dean of the building. The area where there is the nine buildings in the area between Via Dunant and Via Monte Generoso already has some sites that house classrooms and laboratories. The entry into operation of the college should start according to the plans of the founders of the university, the impetus for the creation of a true university district: there are rooms and meeting areas for students, equipped spaces for sports, places for study and for the dissemination of culture.

A new way of experiencing the universities – The future of Insubria will therefore have a new heart to Bizzozero. By themselves, however, facilities and equipment are not the only things able to make the heart of the University beat: "To live, the universities need the services but also the opportunities for comparison” the professor said. “Today’s students attend only part of the university that competes. Among other things, the Insubria is on different sites, some are in the centre, others in the periphery even in other cities. "

The appeal to the city – Every day hundreds of students move around Bizzozero  Insubria and whether the projects come to fruition, the area will be revolutionized.
